RRB Group D Result: Government’s big decision, change in Group D result
Railway Recruitment Board has informed all the candidates through the released notice that the percentile score will be used to determine the merit in the result of this recruitment examination. That is, the normalization method of the result will be done in percentile. Railway Recruitment Board (RRC) has made this change in the normalization system by amending para 15.1 of the Group D notification. The notice also states that the candidates should not treat this percentile score as the same as the percentile score.
The percentile score is based on the performance of all the candidates who have appeared in the exam for that shift, converting the marks obtained by each shift of the candidates into a scale of 100 to 0.
Where percentage means how many marks are obtained out of 100 in each subject, while percentile means how many candidates have obtained marks less than or equal to you or how many students have obtained more marks than you.
