Regarding free coaching for backward class and extremely backward class
In this scheme, the Government of Bihar for those students of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes who want to prepare for NET, GATE, JRF (CSIR), Ph.D, M.Phil. they It has been decided to provide free coaching to all the candidates.
Student / Student Eligibility
All those students of Bihar who want to take advantage of free coaching by the Government of Bihar must come under the following eligibility, then all those students will be eligible to fill the form for this free coaching.
- All those students are permanent residents of Bihar state.
- Only the members of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes are eligible for this scheme.
- The maximum annual gross income of the student and his/her parents should be Rs.3,00,00 from all sources.
- The age limit of the student is minimumthat’s whyThe educational qualification should be in conformity with the minimum qualification prescribed for the competitive examination under the concerned course.
Chief Minister Vocational Course Guidance and Promotion Scheme
Selected students will have to make their own arrangement for stay
The Financial Assistance Training Program will be conducted by the Backward Classes and OBC Welfare Department, Bihar, Patna for 60 full time students each in two sessions Summer (April-September) and Winter (October-March) every year.
Under this scheme, free preparation of NET, GATE, JRF (CSIR), Ph.D, M.Phil etc. will be done in this state.

Selection Process & Total Seats Available
On the basis of written examination, 1680 students will be selected for seven centers in two batches of 60-60 students, 240 students per center.
The sixth reservation will be pre-ordained on the seats available for the students of backward class and extremely backward class and for girl students in both the above categories.

Students can apply online or offline to get free training by Bihar government by following the steps given below.
Phase 1: Applications will be taken twice a year in summer and winter session, whose information is available on the official website- https://state.bihar.gov.in it will be available from time to time
Phase 2: Apply online at official website along with complete application form, required minimum educational qualification certificate, caste certificate, residential certificate and self attested photocopies of two color passport size photographs.And Offline application can be made or sent by registered post / speed post
