Computer Based Examination – The Computer Based Examination will consist of one objective type paper consisting of 80 questions and each question will carry 2 marks with the following structure:

- common sense and reasoning Analytical ability and ability to spot and isolate patterns will be tested mainly through questions of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and pictorial classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc. .
- General Knowledge & General Awareness The questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. The questions will also be designed to test such knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially relating to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scenario, general polity, Indian constitution and scientific research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require special study of any subject.
- elementary math This paper will have questions on problems related to Number System, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Will be included.
