Workers in the unorganized sectors can avail several benefits through the e-Labour Card, such as pension amount after 60 years, death insurance, financial assistance in case of disability, a UAN number, and many more. The government intends to link the e-Labour card and ration card so that the cardholders can be benefited from other state and federally sponsored programs.

500 to 1000 rupees will be sent every month to the labor card holders.

This program includes not only cash assistance but children’s cycles, tools, sewing machines etc. free of cost.

Death insurance policy of Rs 2 lakh and cash assistance of Rs 1 lakh will be offered in case of partial disability.

Both CSC (Common Service Center) and e-Shram site are available for submission of application for e-Labour Card.

Interested applicants can check their eligibility criteria thoroughly, provide the state and district where they wish to apply for e-SHRAM card, and access the e-SHRAM portal to find the nearest CSC center Huh. After this eligible person can apply for e-Labour card by visiting the nearest CSC center.

Go to the e-Shram self registration page https://register.eshram.gov.in/#/user/self

After entering the captcha code and mobile number linked with Aadhaar, click on the “Send OTP” button. After entering OTP, you have to press on “Validate”.

Verify the personal information that pops up on the screen and fill other relevant details like your address, educational background, skill name, type of business and job.

Finally, select Self-declaration and enter bank details.

To double check the information you entered, select “Preview” and then “Submit”.

You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. After entering the OTP, hit the “Verify” button.

The generated e-Labour Card is visible on the screen.

You can also download the e-Labour Card by selecting the download option.

To update or download your UAN card, go to the “Pre-Registered” section and click on the appropriate link.

After providing your UAN, DOB and CAPTCHA, you can generate the One-Time Password using the “Generate OTP” button.

Please enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile device and then click on the “Accept” button. You will be asked to verify your information displayed on the screen.

To double-check the information before submitting, use the “Preview” button. After clicking on the submit option, you will have to enter the OTP sent to your number.

A Virtual e-Labour Card is generated and shown to the user. The next step would be to select the download option.
