There is no change in the rates of petrol and diesel on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the prices are stable for almost eight months. One liter of petrol in Delhi costs Rs 96.72, while diesel costs Rs 89.62 per liter in the national capital. Petrol is being sold at Rs 106.31 per liter and diesel at Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai. The last nationwide change in fuel rates was on May 21 last year, when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman cut excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per liter and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre.
