School Holidays: Schools up to 12th will remain closed this week

Your child studies in a school in Uttar Pradesh. Schools up to class VIII have been closed due to cold in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. The timings of schools have been changed from 9th to 12th. Schools up to class VIII have been closed in Bihar till 31st December. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cold weather with dense fog for the next few days.

School Holidays: School remains closed from 1st to 15th January

According to the Delhi government, all schools in Delhi will remain closed from January 1 to January 15. All government schools in Delhi NCR under the Directorate of Education have been declared closed for 15 days. Schools from classes 1 to 8 will remain closed. Along with this, remedial classes will also be organized so that the studies of children from class 9 to 12 are not affected.

Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar has directed that all government schools in the state will remain closed from January 1 to January 15. He said that the outbreak of cold is increasing in North India. Schools in Punjab will remain closed till January 15, 2023. This order of the government will be applicable to all schools. Lockdown has been ordered in Madhya Pradesh till January 10 and in Chhattisgarh till January 15.
