The selection will be completed in three stages which are mentioned below:

- There will be a race for the posts of Constable (Driver, Laboratory Assistant, Veterinary, Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Tailor, Collier, Gardner, Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier and Waiter).
- 4.8 kms in 24 minutes for male candidates
- 2.4 km in 18 minutes for female candidates
Exam Pattern of SSB Constable Tradesman Bharti 2023
Candidates declared qualified in the Physical Standard Test (PST) will have to appear in the written test which will be conducted as per the following:
Common Entrance Test (CET): For all the posts, CET will be conducted which will be of 2 hours time duration and 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple choice objective questions focusing on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and General English / General Hindi.

- 50% marks for Gen, EWS, OBC and Ex-servicemen
- 40% for SC and ST
Comment: Final merit for all the posts will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test only.
