More Than Six Lakh Employees Of Haryana Will Be Covered In Cashless Scheme

Haryana government is going to increase the scope of cashless scheme health insurance scheme. Under this scheme, more than six lakh 51 thousand employees, pensioners and other categories of people including their dependents will be included. Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has held a review meeting in this regard and instructed the officials to prepare the RFP (request for proposal) of the insurance scheme soon.

Under the scheme, three lakh 43 thousand 746 families of Haryana government and families of corporation employees, three lakh five thousand families of pensioners under category-1 will get this benefit. Category-II: 1200 families of accredited journalists, 424 families of Azad Hind Fauj jawans, 555 families of persons jailed during Emergency, 186 families of persons associated with Hindi movement, 614 families of persons jailed during World War II Will be included.

The Chief Secretary instructed the officials to prepare a geographical map of the private hospitals included in the list. The draft of the plan should be prepared after taking suggestions from the officer-employee unions. Emergency treatment will be allowed as per the existing practice in unempanelled hospitals. Presently Pan India Panel Services are available in all Panel Hospitals of Haryana, Tricity, NCR. Hospitals empaneled in state capitals, metro cities under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana can also be empaneled by Haryana Government Insurance Company.
