Haryana Roadways:- The Haryana government had earlier decided to increase the pension of senior citizens while giving a big decision for their pension, but now along with this, Haryana Roadways has also taken an important decision regarding the fare to be given to senior citizens. As per the decision, Haryana Roadways has decided to give 50 per cent discount on bus fares. Under this, earlier the age of senior citizens in Haryana Roadways was fixed at 65 years, which has now been reduced to 60 years. This decision will be applicable from 1 April 2023.

It has been announced by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar that the number of Haryana Roadways buses will be increased to 5300 by Haryana Roadways to provide safe, affordable and comfortable transport services. With more buses of Haryana Roadways plying, all the passengers will be able to travel comfortably and this will also reduce the crowd in the buses.

Decision to reduce age from 65 years to 60 years

He has directed the officials of Haryana Roadways to give 50% concession in fare to this citizen and reduce the age from 65 years to 60 years and this will be implemented in all Haryana Roadways buses from 01 April 2023.

E-ticketing system has been implemented

Roadways officials told that e-ticketing system has been implemented in all the districts of the state. Apart from this, the work of setting up 6 bus ports is going on fast. Officials of the Civil Aviation Department said that a survey has been done by the concerned agency to build a heli hub in Gurugram.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has instructed the officials of the Public Administration Department that priority should be given to repair, widening and strengthening of old roads, so that the common man does not face any problem in commuting.
