Last month, TVS reported a 27.83% growth in its two-wheeler domestic sales at 221,402 units in February 2023 as against 173,198 units in February 2022. The thing to note here is that the company is seeing more growth in the sales of scooters than motorcycles. A scooter from the company has contributed tremendously to the sales.

TVS motorcycle sales declined by 12.04% in February 10 with sales of 126243 units as against a year ago the company shipped 143523 units in February 2022 and the scooter segment on the other hand saw a positive growth of 21.20% . While the company sold 86616 scooters in February 2022, the number has increased to 104825 units in February 2023.

593% straight increase

The company has registered a tremendous growth of 593.57 percent in this scooter segment. In February 2023, the company sold 2238 units of electric scooters. In comparison, the company has sold 15522 units in February 2023. The special thing is that this cell is of TVS iQube electric scooter alone. This is the fourth consecutive month that the scooter has crossed 10000 units in sales.

TVS iQube is available in three variants Standard, S and ST. Here, the standard and S variants get a 3.04kwh lithium-ion battery pack, while the ST variant gets a bigger 4.56kwh battery. The standard SSC models offer a maximum range of 100 km and 145 km on a single charge. The Standard and S variants are priced at Rs 99,130 ​​and Rs 1.04 lakh respectively, while the ST variant is yet to be launched.
