Educational Qualification of Department of Posts Recruitment:
Passing Certificate of 10th class Secondary School Examination with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board.
Knowledge of Cycling Knowledge of cycling is a pre-requisite for all GDS posts. In case a candidate has knowledge of driving a scooter or a motorcycle, he/she may be treated as having knowledge of cycling.
age limit of India Post Circle GDS 2023 Recruitment:
18 – 40 years. Age relaxation is as per Govt. Criteria.
Application fee postal department Recruitment:
Applicants belonging to UR/ OBC/ EWS Male/ Trans-man category have to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for each set of five options. Payment of fee is exempted for all Female/Trans-Female candidates, all SC/ST candidates and all PWD candidates.
The fee can be paid online during the online application process and can be paid offline through post offices.

How to Apply for GDS 2023:
Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of India Post GDS Online Engagement Portal – https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/
On successful submission of the online application form, the system generated registration/acknowledgment slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must take a print out of it for future correspondence. Do not send any print-out/hard copy or document to India Post, West Bengal Circle at this stage. All verifications will be done in due course.
